Mr Alexander, A Clockwork Orange
''We'' were at a theatre piece, whoever we were, a highly original adaptation and
tour of
A Clockwork Orange, and ''I'' was directing the show. Having won several awards for ''my'' other work already,
Malcolm McDowell, drawn by the glamour, had signed up to the cast and was playing the lead, and had also won accolades for his performance. The show wasn't your traditional proscenium arch piece but rather
in-the-reverse-round, snaking along a figure 8 (with one loop smaller than the other), and, to some extent, the
promenade. Alex DeLarge lead a parade of the
Alexarillion, droogs (and other members of the cast), literally running
rings around the audience(s) in the centre(s), who could only see the ''front'' of the show if they focused on the head of the snake. The audience were
free to move within and between the two segments of the 8, a stairway and bridge like corridor joining the two 0s, keeping up with the head of the snake
if they wished. The rest of the audience were visited with a kind of 70s period piece which was one part orgy of anarchy and one part
Morris dance. A group of theatre producers approached me after the show, congratulated me on the piece and asked me how I was going to stage Invasion. And when I say ''me'', I really mean from whoever's perspective I was
looking out from.
What I took away from this is that the vision was giving the
overview of how the snake
works to
hypnotise the audience - they are completely surrounded and cannot see anything outside of the show only the head or tail of the snake although they
feel like they have freedom of movement and they feel a
chaos within the audience who are all moving in different directions, they are in fact completely contained - with an illusion of chaos and an illusion of freedom and that the piece works, in abstract, as a
parade or macabre
carnival with the feeling of freedom vs the reality of
constriction. I had no sense that this affects our own dispassionate
tracking of the head of the snake just that in the
overall effect of the ''spell'' on the audience that doesn't matter - you will be watching the show from whatever your personal vantage point. Many of course will
already be tracking the prison officer, or the Ludovico technique, if they are against ''freedom'', they may stay there for the entire show.
Chaos Magic, a recent arrival to our group discussions, is represented by an 8 pointed star and Mercury/Hermes is often invoked by practitioners in this field (e.g. Chaos Protocols by Gordon White). In Alchemy, the Ouroboros symbolises eternity and eternal return, or, to quote Sefer Yetzirah: ''The End is in the Beginning, and the Beginning is imbedded in the End, for the Master is Singular, He Has no Second, and before One what do you count?'' From the dramaturgical point of view, the show has to start
somewhere, but the snake is already up its own ass, and only those audience members ''fortunate'' enough to be in that position are looking the snake in its mouth.
We can look to the world right now for this enormous disparity in audience
experience, some parts of the world feeling the illusion of freedom in the bigger O section(s), enjoying the snake's anarchic dance of chaos, keeping pace with Alex or the Droogs, while others are already firmly wedged in the coils of the much much tighter, ever constricting, claustrophobic O sections. In many ways the Clockwork Orange is itself an oroborous as within the end of the punishment is the suggestion of further crime.

DeleteWe put this kind of event under the heading of "set dressing" in the RHPS and I was in the soft hypo group ie that this can be "directed" by simple intelligence groups. What started that whole discussion was the Darko sync (when the aeroplane engine fell off and landed in someone's front yard) and I specifically asked upstairs if that could be staged (by simple humans) and I was told it could be.

How I really feel about the "how" of it is hard to put in words. Trying to talk about it's gotten me in trouble before. More accurately, accused of being a witch. Yeah, people are ridiculous. Sometimes you just know that doing something will cause something seemingly unrelated to happen, and the steps and mechanics in between. It's almost like you can see the currents flowing between people and events and send a controlled ripple into it. That's likely by design. Being able to manipulate a few chains of events doesn't mean a person's necessarily able to know what all the implications will be later, or that they're particularly wise or powerful. Someone must have gotten the idea a long time ago to knee-cap everyone else so they could be the figurative one-eyed king of the blind.
That's just one possibility. People manipulating the currents of reality in a way so different to our normal mode of experience that it appears as if magic. I think it likely plays a significant role.
I take the points on the gematria. I try not to get too involved in it but find it interesting to check if a story seems false in some way. Certainly unsure how practically useful the links that Zach Hubbard and Derek at Gematrinator throw up and I've also entertained the idea that those sites are a part of the distraction as various rabbit holes likely are.

They seem sound to me. Only thing which differs today could be our language, which I think may have been purpose developed by the controllers. If Hebrew is taken as a point of comparison we read left to right, there are inverted words such as live/evil and an awful lot of the gematria appears like a built in feature. Maybe they don't need to stretch so much any more as the hard work's been done centuries before. You can see from the architecture these are long term planners. That's why I don't think they're the clown show that we see in public.

Conversely I do believe that the Hebrew and Greek languages although derived from something cruder are special and do have *certain* codes *built* into them and therefore agree with your point. DeleteFor the record I do not think this is a bullshit distraction. What *looks like* the bullshit distraction is part of the snakes movement as it tightens its coils. I didn't mean to say the whole show is a distraction, just certain elements of it. Even a sideshow gets some people to pay their admission to the circus, and a lot of those people then also watch the spectacle in the big tent. I heard somewhere a long time ago that sideshows in particular were a way to reinforce social mores by highlighting unacceptable deviations from the norm; if that's true the trained animals would be the customers themselves. Maybe what the stunts in this case are meant to do is on one level just draw people into the narrative, on another to be entertaining enough to keep them focused on peripherals, and on yet another to reassure some of their non-central actors that the show is, indeed, going on as planned. At some point the energy generated by focusing on peripherals can be redirected to a central goal.

DeleteWhy bother casting spells when you can entrain people to cast them for you, right? The Sapir-Whorf hypothesis would probably be considered a rank conspiracy theory if it had come out this century; it does have its flaws but not nearly enough to dismiss it entirely.
The funny thing about language is how tied in it is with not only ideas and concepts, but emotions as well. Some words elicit an immediate emotional response strong enough to be noticed in that moment. I'm not sure any word could be learned without at least a subtle emotional connection to it. Taking advantage of those connections over time seems like it must have been a major driver of the evolution of any language.
Gematria just confuses me. Sometimes I get pulled into trying to make sense of it, and always wind up feeling like I've wasted my time and more than a few sanity points. The websites are fun to look at, though.

A lot of people have suggested either a) this is a distraction while other moves are being made or b) that by looking at it and studying it we are somehow feeding it. With a) I think that this movie constitutes a lot of the overall effect as moves in the background will be financial or military and we feel the rough end of that i.e. gas prices driving more people into ill health or poverty, these financial moves are making the world the world of ACO i.e. severe social decay or the ''Russian threat''. It could be a ploy while filling bunkers and I have acknowledged that - in that case your only option is to take Zod's advice, which I have tried to hedge my bets on myself. I do not believe the Great Reset is code for a magnetic reversal though but I do think it is in keeping with a reconfigured society to either weather the storm that we have unleashed upon ourselves, been unleashed upon us, to transform society because there is an ''improved model'' (like a ''tech upgrade'') or to harvest ''energeia'' in the psychic sense. With b) I would say that our contribution here is either a) negligible (as the vast majority do not see the flow of events as a cult movie - the audience here is under a thousand) or b) it is (as) dispassionate (as possible) as it is the passion that feeds this. I realise it is genuinely difficult to maintain that dispassion (cynicism doesn't really work as it is generally on apathy which is a very low vibration) but if you cannot do it then you are in danger of obsession causing various issues. If you keep vibrations at courage and above you should be good. The alternative i.e. tuning out is only advisable if the events of the cult movie do not directly affect you, i.e. if you are on a remote island somewhere. DeleteI am trying to stay where it is possible between Reason and Courage as hungry ghosts feed on anything below that but like everyone I have bad days.
I did see From Beyond when I was quite young, it probably left a bigger impression than I'd realized. Almost the whole duration of that ordeal, I was aware that any bits of truth which might exist were mixed up with personal issues and would require an effort to separate that I might not be capable of. Well, about the first half anyway, until it overwhelmed my sense and went straight to hell.
DeleteOne of the most perplexing aspects was a hidden predator. I couldn't see it or hear it, only knew it was behind a certain tree and I had to stay downwind so it wouldn't smell me, or it would attack. Its most significant characteristic was "not plant, not animal." Trying to figure it out in the moment I rationalized it must be a fungus, but that didn't seem quite right. After all, a fungus doesn't have a nose. I got the feeling it was really ferocious, like an animal might be. My latest guess is maybe a fungus like candida auris that can get in your nose and ears, or maybe rabies or anthrax which are carried by animals. C auris had just landed in the US around that time, but anthrax forms spores like fungus does.
Chuck Palahniuk wrote a book called Rant about a guy who spreads rabies. Come to think of it, the guy in that book had an extraordinary sense of smell and was a time traveler. Ha! Now I'm wondering if that wasn't just another personal issue. Damn, I must be crazy. The only reason I don't write the whole thing off as lunacy is that, maybe coincidentally, some parts of it did actually happen later. The whole inside/outside being locked away for someone else's profit along with everyone else in the world was near the beginning of the experience, and of the worldwide ordeal now underway. Gender issues were sort of the lead-in for both as well. Same with the idea of "winning by losing." I'm starting to think the rabies aspects may have been imposed by me and leaning more toward the other two candidates.
Anyway, just throwing that out there. Kind of working through the material as I go.
I think the rough overview, my reading, of this is depopulation, reconfiguration and finally regulation following this calendar:

2023: Invasion of Body Snatchers (*new* disease prob. fungal, whiplash against those who were on the anti-thesis side, mass formation psychosis like you wouldn't believe even with what we are going through right now, forced adoption of green passport)
2024: Mad Max (another new disease (bacterial), climate change, worst fires ever, above 1.5 degrees of warming, absolute carnage in developing economies, mass people movements again a step up from what we are experiencing already, severe energy crisis)
2025: Shock Treatment (which I still need to see so this may change but...) Smart cities maintaining illusion of digital social media's ''normal'' but highly segregated between people who do not want to comply and those who do, social credit scores having big impact, ''fantasy free zones'', general health assessments for green pass, with the primary goal of putting climate refugees in ghettos until they can get the ''passport'', a bureaucratic hell for them)
2026: Logan's Run: passport evolves into death sentence because of repeated treatments with novel tech, a longevity price for having stayed in the city, most are still delusional, some people try to leave but it is increasingly difficult because a lot of nature is now ringed off and protected because of the events of 2024, more details on this later but this one will be intense)
2027: Bladerunner Robots/Synths/Androids partially justified by the fact that are now less people but we still need jobs doing
2028: Videodrome (again I am not sure on the movie here ''grey cult movies'' please suggest) but I imagine this is to do with virtual reality turning very nasty, I am not all in on this
2029: Labyrinth (which will be to do with ''meta''versing and all the problems that that has thrown up) and the final rise of Pearl (maybe her memory) (& Leo). Its gotten so weird and so upside down by then that humanity demands the regulation of various ''goblin tech'' (which is what they want but we have to experience it before we can reject it) and the world is eventually renewed by hard work and ''angelic support'' through 2030-2039. That is my rough overview. I am going to try and go into more detail in future posts thanks to Journeyman giving me a break from the grind! But this is what I am mainly basing my own reactions on.
When it comes to the Lovecraft schizo-hypothesis I certainly believe demons can be associated with microbial infections as there are many parallels incuding what you use to fight them, they could be the extrusion into our reality of something else like demons traditionally occur with rats, bats, flies, goats, etc i.e. zoonotic vectors and are fought with garlic, sunlight, silver, hygeine etc. But I am happy to play around with more severe extrusions into our reality via Yog et al. Or even that we are like JB said playing out the Gods' scripts as pawns in which case the only answer is *stoicism* which is another belief as ''Blogos'' I do subscribe to. Here is a good summary:

Blogos, I apologize for having posted carelessly. When I said distraction, I was very specifically thinking of the car driving into the Milk Bar. That instance was so on the nose, it came off like fan service or something.
DeleteIn the cases of both the crash and the lottery, I think that was to distract people from their own everyday life concerns and actually draw them into the ritual, while focusing their attention in a very directed way. So, on the basis of which aspect of the show they're drawn to, they can choose their own task to fulfil within the larger framework while remaining unaware of the framework itself or its other factions. It seems very much like hypnotic suggestion, and storytelling is a very effective medium for implanting ideas in people.
I'll try to avoid posting any more comments when I'm short on time, it's too easy to say things in a way which might be clear in person but can imply you mean something else entirely when viewed as characters on a screen. I only pester your blog so much because I think you're really on to something here and would like to contribute in any way I can.
Did you recognize any of the theatre producers who approached you after the show? Any identifying clues you're comfortable sharing?
I am not annoyed pester away it's all good no stress. If there is misunderstanding we can always clear it up. It helps to clarify ideas because it works both ways I clarify myself to myself as well as for you and vice versa. Language is a difficult mistress.
DeleteThe detail is there either because they are absolutely OCD about this or because it really is a ritual and it will not work as well without attention to the little details. It's the same principle with altar work the operator needs to pay very close attention to the elements and timing. Did you know Nathan Crowley was the set designer for Nolan?
They were a bit like the bad guys in Dark City (but disguised) these are typically the folks that kick me off the astral but there are real producers who look like that... There was some measure of genuine respect I think before they kicked me off. I assume it was a kick off because it happened right at the end. I do not think it's particularly useful in detail I could tell you more but we would need a more private setting for that. One day perhaps.
So, were these astral guardians or whatever you call it related to the actual producers, or just taking on that role to deliver a parting question? It's a bit confusing. No sense in discussing unuseful details, feel free to ignore any questions you don't want to answer.

I might have heard that about Crowley, but like so many things it was in one ear and out the other. The internet says he's claimed Aleister was his grandfather's cousin, and that he wasn't even allowed to mention him because they were a very Quaker family. I was under the impression Quakers were a bit more liberal than that.
Anything to do with magic or ritual is by turns fascinating and repellant. Probably a lot of that has to do with the people I've actually known who practiced or claimed to have practiced it. There isn't much that's sadder than someone claiming to have used the Necronomicon (of all things) to summon demons for petty revenge, as one example. Things like that tend to throw the whole business into an unflattering light. Yeah, so it's good to have a few spots like this and The Secret Sun filled with intelligent people who make some kind of sense to learn a few things from. Even when someone says something I can't make sense of, it never feels like bullshit, and that's what counts.
On the producers, impossible to say, it felt like both, could have been either. It's a bit like a Smith can enter someone or something to stop you a bit like what I was potentially doing myself there although this was more abstract remote viewing than direct. Good question on the bridge but I think this would have been impossible as it was narrow and people were pushing up and down it. It may be something to burrow into on another crack at this.
DeleteThe thing about a magical success is that it should, in my opinion, push you on into further questions, if this what then, it's part of a journey into the "mysteries". For example with retrocausality (a finding that is obvious to those who keep records and make notes) the demons summoned them (in Sov. Russia demon summon you) but these sorcerer type guys hate retro or eternalism as much as scientists do so they tune out all the evidence relating to time travel and only live in the present. Because these ideas are devastating realisations for the petty ego and "magick". I've known several of these types and I do have compassion for them. They've felt powerless or bullied their whole lives and they are/were seeking to redress that balance. Either way violence breeds violence and anything below courage is going to hurt you in the long run with stress + poor health and an early grave fed upon by the demons you thought were helping you, unless they want you as a more long lived vessel. This is just fact in schizohypoland. I've maintained very few spiritual allies (Raphael, Raziel) and worshipped at the altars of a very narrow selection of the Gods because I think these relationships should be as meaningful as those in real life should be and not seen as another excuse for shopping. Exploration is good so you understand the field but in Soviet Russia Gods choose you.

3:16 shows more of the cast. To me, the first thought I had was that they were framed within a mobius strip, but that too forms a figure 8 of sorts. The narrative concerns political prisoners, so that sense of encirclement is appropriate for the piece itself, but it resonated strongly for me with your post above, particularly when I saw that strong serpent as ouroboros image. The show culminates in a progressive whiting out of the screen until all are lost in the haze, back to Inception?
Yes this is correct, at least its pretty close, if the cast were the audience ie clustered in o-zones and facing in different directions. The droogs would have been circling around them up and down that strip. Fidelio? Chortle!
DeleteIn the final act, with the entire ensemble on the steps, they're changing direction and looking in different directions as the final piece is sung. There isn't the conventional sense of the cast singing to the audience, they're facing laterally at various angles. At the credits, Waltz assembles the cast and orchestra on the steps and then has them clap, do they symbolically take on the role of the audience at that point?
