THE UNIFYING COLOUR THEORY
- From 2010 - 2019 powerful studios pursued a unified art direction in their major releases according to the colours and themes of the Sephiroth
- The Sephiroth are the ten manifestations of the Infinite
- 2010 is 1+0 = 1 or Kether (White)
2011 is 1+1 = 2 or Chokmah (Grey)
2012 is 1+2 = 3 or Binah (Black) and so on - These colours and themes were displayed in the film in a variety of ways: poster, costume, set, lighting, colour grading, overall production design, story themes & characters
- The alchemical element of the relevant Sephira was present and represented the virtue of the film's hero

Unlike the other Sefirot in this scale Malkuth is attributed to four colours in clockwise order - citrine (yellow), olive (green), black, russet (red). Different diagrams of Malkuth represent this differently (see below for two examples). These colours ape the alchemical process: citrinatis, green lion, nigredo, rubedo.

The collection above is very simplified and intended to give the reader only a taste. The Golden Dawn system of Qabalah is intricate and baroque and impenetrable to the passerby and more details are available to the interested in the esoteric analyses scattered throughout. A deeper analysis would include the paths between the Sefirot, potentially identifying certain films with the paths that link the years. It is highly likely that the colour system is more sophisticated and relies on these four scales of colour.
2020 AND BEYOND - THE QLIPHOTH
The countdown from 2010-2019 implied two alternatives for 2020 - a return to the Top of the Tree of Life or a further descent into the Tree of the Qliphoth, the Tree of Hell.
Imagine that from 2010-2019 we were watching the movie but from 2020 and beyond we are on the other side, the sitra achra, through the looking glass and inside the movie.
But which movie are we inside?
The cult movie meta theory (Apocalypse Squad working version) suggests that events are structured according to the scripts of cult movies:
