Just before Touch Me (4th - 6th August) the (climate) Criminologist (Narrator, David Attenborough) says the following words:

Having already established Meghan as Columbia and the Queen as Magenta, entirely coincidentally Meghan Markle celebrated her birthday with Melissa McCarthy (many thought she was playing the ''Queen'' or British Polite Society), the two of them hanging out as ''just girls'' ''zooming'' through the monitor and finally making an appeal for women through 40 x 40 x 40. It's probably worth a closer look at the set for this scene and making comparisons to Markle & McCarthy's backdrops as they will almost definitely be connections. A shout-out to my sister for this excellent find which I would have definitely missed as I was focused on Day of the Triffids.

As readers will of course know by now, Governor Cuomo is in trouble over groping allegations. His defense? I touch everyone and so do you. Toucha Toucha Toucha Touch You. People have remarked this is a rather odd defense, but not of course if your attention is to get the audience focused on the word ''touch''. Based on the context of the song you could argue that this implies Cuomo is and was always a Rocky and the women who were upset about being touched/groped are channeling Janet. So when trying to divine via Rockomancy let's keep that in mind, along with the notion that Janet represents key Republican female players in the political scene.
In this sequence we see Columbia and Magenta encouraging Janet through the screen with ''more, more, more''. Columbia or Social Justice/MeToo would be encouraging these revelations about Cuomo.

The idea was that 2020 was structured according to Clash of the Titans 1981, as you know we followed more of a mythical and Qabalistic route last year and the Perseus Protocols were very strong and obvious indeed. With hindsight, if Clash of the Titans (1981) then the two theories (cult movies & qabalah/myth) neatly dovetail.

There's a similar dilemma that I encountered when trying to validate or disprove Secret Sun's 'Cocteau Twin' as Sibyl. I found the first time they'd performed and sure enough, there was a plane crash, but then, how frequent are plane crashes? Am I just pattern matching? If I look for a train crash because there's one in DOTF and find one, does that suggest connection, or are there simply lots of train crashes?

I don't know, it would need to be broader cover than Casualty I would think. But Jungle Cruise has probably done a lot (I still need to watch it to confirm I admit)/Quiet Place 2 arguably. Certainly with Kong it was done via the movies with Kong vs Godzilla, the Fay Wray reference I am using for Millie Bobby Brown.
DeleteThis doesn't fully add up though as there has to be real world events that follow even if they don't stage plane & train crashes (Jungle Cruise could cover a lot again I dont know) - we had the UFO pentagon plot running parallel with Forbidden Planet's ''human cruiser'' and the FreeBritney thing that worked well with Dr Morbius/Altaira. The Outer Theory is nowhere near as well tested as the Inner Theory at the moment so I apologize and thank you for your help.
So I still think the metaphorical reading of the outer plot may work better than the literal reading as there is a great deal of news on this front. i.e. the vaxxxed who are capable of catching and spreading the disease are not being followed by the CDC so we are actively ''blind'' to that transmission. The triffids then move among the blind (majority, vax) and non-blind (minority, unvax? - sailors, convicts, miscellanous in the film) populations until their numbers build. At this point we have the electric fence at the ''Vegas'' house, which I think has to be significant for them if this is legit and not just my crazy fever dreams. Since Forbidden Planet had a similar moment, I am assuming the fence will be the vaccine which will hold up through August.
It might be worth thinking about this in the context of Night/Curse of the Demon (1957) being up next.
